Can't make it also...Will be away....If there is another outing keep me posted,or if it's a rain out......Another good spot would be the Jones Beach area, off the Meadowbrook...
I think where the old Oak Beach Inn used to be is a Sunday get together for a lot of cars.. You can really open the car up on Ocean Parkway...It's a long two lane highway all by itself .. |

Oak Beach is a great spot too. The Inn is long gone, many a good times at OBI back in the day I sped my Harley Sportster at 100mph up 'n down.
Certain sections of Ocean Parkway have been rebuilt since Hurricane Sandy, so do a pass before you run a speed pass. Keep in mind it's 35mph near the turning circles at the towers ...kinda hard to explain to the State Troopers why you needed to be doing warp speed.
