Re: Corsa X-Pipe
Currently, I'm unfortunately saddled with some Magnaflow dual outlet mufflers. They don't eliminate drone, but do mitigate it somewhat. At issue is the fact that the 3" inlet necks down to approx 2-1/4".
Following the example of others (e.g., Bob Banks for one) I may keep them, but install a pair of cutouts ahead of the mufflers with a switch in the console(?). (I'd be interested to see what my HP would be with cutouts AND after porting the TB to 63mm. Last time dyno'ed it was 432 @ the wheels. Anything around 440 to 445 rwhp w/ stock cams would put a big smile on my face!

Re: Corsa X-Pipe
Hope I don't get flamed for this but....I can see a 25hp gain from a complete exhaust change but just an X-pipe? and 25RWHP ?

Re: Corsa X-Pipe
The B&B X-Pipe looks so darn good it could win a beauty contest.
Compared to the B&B Resonator, which was worlds better than stock, this X-Pipe is a highly polished smooth 3" beauty that certainly LOOKS like it could add Horsepower, but even if it could not, it will go on for looks alone. Drone. I would imagine some are truly bothered by it, such as "second chance". I don't doubt him for a minute. However most people are not sickened by it, just bothered by it. I run no mufflers, so I cannot hear the drone. I have always found the deep toned systems more to my liking, but that is a personal thing. Grew up surrounded by Thrush Glass packs, plus I am losing hearing form driving too many sidepipe Big Blocks, and one FEROCIOUS Cobra. So yes, eliminating drone for some is a must. For me it is rather irrelevant, as the noise drowns out the drone! Sometimes however, it would be nice to converse with the occasional passenger without having to scream. So, Fusion is it for me, but since I am adding mufflers, I will indeed be deleting the Resonator in favor of that gorgeous X -Pipe! Call me crazy, but you will need to call me LOUDLY if you want me to hear you, but I will be smiling! Marty |

Re: Corsa X-Pipe
Reach out to B&B directly, or Southern Car Parts who is their largest distributor.

Re: Corsa X-Pipe
We also gained 19 RWHP replacing B&B resonator with X-pipe.

Re: Corsa X-Pipe
Corsa has an H-pipe with 2 bullit like resonators.
I think Corsa could benefit from an X-pipe. I have tested Corsa against a free flowing full 3" exhaust x-pipe and Dynomax mufflers on a fully ported w/cams 350ci LT5 Corsa 428 RWHP Full 3"exhaust x-pipe & Dynomax 445RWHP Same dyno same day. Pete
