Track prep is a key too. I don't think it was as good as it has been at these events. I pop the clutch, maybe I need to try feathering it a bit. No more T&T's this year to try that.

BTW i just watched the video from Portland last weekend with Craigs427 to show him what he missed. one of the runs we lined up with each other you RED lit! i never realised until watching the video, i'm like what the hell?? i thought you got a killer launch on one run against me , now i know why. i never went back & studied the timeslip at all, got home from the trip & tucked it away . you dirty dog . red lighting against your buddy . Craig was like wow those Goodyear GS-D3's John has really work! i'm like ya they would be really good if the big red light wasn't on.

It was only red by .089. You musta skeered me with that Ruby car. it ran pretty good.
