Your seats look to be in decent condition but if you have any faded areas or just want it to look like new, get a bottle of leather dye from the Seat Doctors.

I used this on mine and they look like new again. Took care of the rub mark on the bolster as well. Great idea you had and that is awesome!

Thanks for your thoughts and suggestion Charlie. I think it will get some professional dye from Seat Doctors. I have typical wear on the left bolster to address. Other than that, just screaming for some conditioner. Thanks again! [emoji1303]🤙🏼

I hear you I went back on active duty for a two year tour but I had to spend first years in Los Angeles as a geographical bachelor. The things we have to do right ?

Yes Sir! I didn?t know you did two years in LA; that should count as a combat tour. [emoji38] The story of our lives for those of us that choose to serve and I?m still doing this as a DOD Civilian.....go figure. This PCS back to Japan will be the very last for sure. I?m geographical bachelor now too and I?m done. [emoji847]🤙🏼

Add an armrest from a door panel on the left and a shifter on the right, then sell them for $2,500.00 each!
Add one of those BMW motor sound devices and charge even more.
Hmmmm. seat heaters?

Very nice!

Marty

Default What to do with a spare seat? Make an office chair of course!

Charlie,

Thanks again for the recommendation and tips. The Seat Doctors product is awesome and I hardly used any. I did the trouble areas with three coats and the rest of the seats just one coat. My 95 has only 31K miles so it is in pretty good condition. What I noticed is only the seat face is leather (low quality at that) and the sides and back are all vinyl. The Seat Doctors said to let cure for 48 hours before applying anything else. It is a good thing I read the instructions. [emoji38]

Image1613414361.229467.jpg

In a few days I will apply the Leatherique Rejuvenator and Prestine Clean. I will cover it with a plastic bag and leave in the sun to steam out the junk and permeate the leather properly. I will up the after results. Thanks again Charlie!! [emoji1303]🤙🏼

Glad it is working out and you are happy with the results. Always helpful to read the directions, I did not do that the first time but fortunately everything still worked out. Project looks great!

Thanks again Charlie! It is only an office chair, but it will be nice to have it like new again; thanks to you. I am learning something I never knew about so that is a big bonus. 🤙🏼
