Re: Purple ZR-1 Road Trip to Yellowstone and the Pacific Northwest
As we continued east on I-80 we came to Wendover, Utah:
Wendover is on the western edge of the Bonneville Salt Flats: The Salt Flats are managed by the Department of the Interior. There is a visitor area accessible from I-80: I-80 across the Salt Flats runs straight and level for miles and miles: We drove past the Great Salt Lake and Salt Lake City to our destination, Park City, Utah. We will be staying at the Westgate Park City Resort for a few days: Jim |

For those non-shutterbugs (or budding photographers) out there, Ansel Adams was a famous photographer who spent a good part of his life making a fascinating black and white photo record portrayal of the stunning scenes that is Yosemite. Breathtaking!

Re: Purple ZR-1 Road Trip to Yellowstone and the Pacific Northwest
Answer to the Quiz Question. Yes, Lyndi and I both have on Blue Registry T-shirts.
Would you believe me if I said it was planned? I didn't think so. It was random chance from the set of shirts we each brought. All day we got looks from people from "isn't that cute?" to "Look at the dorks." We have instituted wardrobe checks to prevent another occurrence. Jim |

Re: Purple ZR-1 Road Trip to Yellowstone and the Pacific Northwest
For the sake of a really good photo, you should both wear the maroon t-shirts & pose with the car. Weren't those the 20th anniv. shirts?
btw, dorky would be if you wore the maroon shirts & each carried a stuffed Barney (no offense, Hib) |
