Dennis - THANK YOU for the update! How do I get in line for one? If windshields were sold by severity of delamination, see three posts up

My 90 ZR1 #2216 windshield finally delaminated to a yellowish color. The windshield was fine when I stored it over 25 yrs ago with 40K miles. It has been garaged and covered the whole time. About 5 years ago I noticed the delamination. Any info on where to purchase a new windshield or a group buy, I'm in !!

They should be available through Safelite after March. The film will be available next month and production starts in March.

Apologies if this question has been asked. Are the markings as original and, can a date marking be chosen to align with vehicle build? exa...a date code of, say, January 1990.

I believe that is one of the features they were working on, same markings and when you made your order you could get the correct date code

I know the Board has been working on this for a long time, Covid and supply chain issues caused lots of delays and problems but it now appears that they have a light at the end of the tunnel. I know they kept the NCRS group in mind when working with the supplier. It will be awesome!

Since we're about half way through march now, are there any updates? I'm stoked at the possibility of getting a factory appearing windshield back in my '90

Hopefully soon! For grins, I just tried to quote on Safelite and the ZR-1 vs. regular windshields are still the same price, although they definitely do still know to ask ZR-1 vs. not. I'd expect the ZR-1 will be more. Definitely willing... just waiting.
