Hey Yun, thanks for being patient with my Q's! You be Da Man!
Tom, why don't you drive down to my house and we can do the install. I'll call some hard hittin WAZOO brothers also to come up and help get it done for you.

Tom, sounds like you'll have yours in before I get mine in. Good luck, let me know how it goes, and how it sounds.

Hey,

Consider coming down to the WAZOO HQ. Headers and exhaust, we are looking at about 8-9 hours if we move fast. I am sure Jim will offer and I will also jump in. We've done 3 or 4 sets of headers.

When I wrote this I id not see Rickey's post. Either way...

Yun and Ricky, ya know that the attitude that Z Brothers have toward one another where helping each other is involved make owning one of these cars special. You guys are tops!

I have to open up the boxes because I remember when I looked in the header box, they came with those really wide s/s band clamps. Looks like my living room floor is going to be the "mock-up room" this weekend. It's nice to be single sometimes!

I will do an inventory of what I need to order and get that order placed. When I have all the "extras" I need then I'll reach out and see if the WAZOO will allow an interloper into the skunk works.

Steve, I'll wager that you have yours on before me! Anything but the simplest of maintenance for me is a real PIA. My Z lives in a rented garage space about 5 miles form where I live. In theory I'm not allowed to detail the car inside the garage! They kind of put up with that, as it's a whole lot better than what I used to do before I was informed of my transgressions! The garage is in a Co-Op building so they have rules!

Tom,

R You going to need a dipstick offset bracket too? I'm gonna be making some today - mailed my last one off yesterday.

Paul, thank you for being kind to me!

I have one of the dipstick tube brackets that Jeffvette made. He gave it to me when I bought my headers.

Thank you very much for thinking about me having all the parts I need to do the header install!

This is why it's so great to be a part of this Brotherhood! I could not even think about owning a ZR-1 without being a member of our Registry! It would be scarier than an IRS audit!

Tom, hopefully we both have this done before BG, and hopefully we can still hook up for the ride. Bitch having the car so far away, mine lives in a heated (and air conditioned ) garage at the house, but my abilities are certainly limited. I need to tear into things so i'm not so afraid of them. My down side is my driveway is about 3000' of dirt, then a mile of dirt road to the tar. Long ride in first gear at an idle.

Post office said "prolly Monday" on the bracket.

As for the dirt road, buddy, I hear ya!! I used to have a black 95 Vette before getting the red Z. The one good thing I got outta 5 years of owning that car was ZAINO. Nuthing like it for shine that shrugs off the effects of sun and dust.
