SS Braided Oil Cooler Line
No question that is "Cat's Meow" as the LT5 deserves nothing less
Another Cat's Meow is Phil's (Jagdpanzer) Improved Fuel Pressure Regulator I can now remove fuel pressure regulator in 2 minutes. I can remove a plenum in 10 min and a that means a starter can be removed in 15 min and Alternator in 15 min Can change oil filter in 1 min Now.......what other car can you do maintenance that quickly. Re: SS Braided Oil Cooler Line
I noticed the other day, I have a leak in either a fitting or the oiler hoses. Jerry will be getting a call from me soon, as I should just change them out. Does one need to drain the cooler oil or can you get around that?

Re: SS Braided Oil Cooler Line
Simple, easy way is to load up below the fittings (motor and cooler side) with old towels. I'm not sure if there is a drain plug for the oil cooler and, even if there is, wouldn't take a chance with the plug after 23 - 28 years.

Re: SS Braided Oil Cooler Line
There is a cooler plug on the left side of the cooler there is a hole in the plastic I got mine out easy as putting it back in was a little harder as it is on a angle above the steel frame under the front just be careful doing it back up I noticed my plug looks like it might go thought into the cooler

You do not have to drain any oil. Let the Z sit over night and then do what you want with oil cooler hoses or oil filter. you might stuff a rag or two under the fittings. Sent from my iPhone using ZR-1 Net Registry
