Re: LT5 into GTO project
yeah, they wouldn't take an order over the phone either. he told me to go to their website and submit a parts request, and they would get back with me in "about" 20 days

Re: LT5 into GTO project
Strike one, two and three.
I do not understand people who are selling something, yet cannot either give you a picture, or even a description with them putting their hands on it. Good condition means many things to many different people. This fender may cause a major issue with completing the car. i simply refuse to purchase a 40 year old used part without seeing it first, or getting a very good description of it |

I am not sure that the place in the chicago area (the parts place) would even show the fender to someone. They seem to have no interest in helping at all. |

Re: LT5 into GTO project
I appreciate it Jeff, but I kept hitting it until I found what I needed. I picked up two 72 fenders, the only difference being the ducts which I like anyway, and was lucky enough to find them local.
They will both take some work, and a little patching, but the support is still solid, and they have their unwarped form. Thanks for the help. |

Rear shock mount, ade to mount to the subframe so it will all drop as one unit.
Pretty, pretty Now to do the math with the weight, angle and travel to pick a spring. |

Here is the completed, funky shaped header finshed product. Weird, but fits.
A header, and downpipe I made for my All Trac a few years ago for comparrison |

Rob, your work is top shelf. Very nice indeed.
