Left Cam Chain Tensioner Retainer Ring
Found the large retainer ring on the left tensioner with about 20% broken off the end.
As a result it will not allow the inner plunger to lock in the retaining groves of the outer cylinder like it is suppose to. Can anyone help with a source for replacement retainer rings? Otherwise the tensioner is in perfect condition. |

Re: Left Cam Chain Tensioner Retainer Ring
Phil you really don't need that ring.
The only reason it's there so that half of the tensioner does not fall into the motor if you break a chain and if you break a chain you have bigger issues then to worry about part of the tensioner. Pete
