Default Toyvet...What time for the GTG?

For those in the area, including the FBI, see Ken's GTG ending at the Morris Cruise Night.

Ken...What time do we meet?

Anyone interested we are meeting at Agustinos at about 11 for lunch before we hit the road. We will be leaving at noon from Agustinos. We will make a stop at a street rod shop and then a Bar/resraunt/ice cream place. The final stop will be outside od Morris were we will all head into Morris together . Morris will provide a reserved group parking area for us.

Things are shaping up well and hope to see all of you there.....

Default Here's the map...

The event is along Liberty Street, north of Washington St.

http://maps.google.com/maps?f=s&utm_...=google%20maps

Coming into Morris FROM THE NORTH, you'll be on Rt 47 (Division St). Stay on 47 to the south end of town, and a block before you come to the IL River Bridge, you'll turn right (west) on Washington street for a couple blocks to the "entry" location.

Some details for those never being at the Morris Cruise (park n brag) Night event:
The fee per car varies (it is a charity event) $10-15 is about the norm.
The event runs from 5PM to about 8PM or so, but if you're entering a car, to get a central location ( not on some side street), you'll need to be checking in by no later than 4PM (IMO).
If it is a group checking in, they will accommodate clubs, etc as best they can as far as parking goes. But, if a group wants to park together, it is a good idea to arrive en mass as a group - NOT willy nilly (if you get my drift).

Ken, I don't know if my car will be running in time for the 11AM kick-off or the Morris event either. Plan B is to arrive in Ami's 69 C3 vert. Have to play that one by ear, I recon.

Boy...Sure hope some of the FBI and other Z bros do make it tho. I've been there a couple of times where I was the only ZR-1 there!

Stay tuned.

P.

Actually...I did fire it up Monday. It has a terrible miss on multiple cylinders. I just buttoned up the plenum (again) last night after inspecting everything; wiring, hoses, connectors and the DIS pins etc. I checked for leaking injectors and fuel pressure too. Nada. So, I'll fire it again tonight and do some more investigation. (One possibility is condensation in the tank - it was a brutal winter, and both Vettes were sweating like whores in church at times...is why water contamination is a consideration - I'm sure (I hope) it is just some last little gremlin before she finally comes down off the jacks!)

Never a dull moment... Oh! That pilot shaft worked like a charm, BTW! I'll bring it w/ me Saturday!
