Default New Tune - Running Smooth

I have not been happy with my cars idle behaviour. I have a DRM PROM, and it was set to idle high - about 800 RPM (presumably for a single mass flywheel), also - the car would hang at 1200+ RPM for four or five seconds AFTER coming to a complete stop. I find this annoying as I routinely get stuck in stop and go traffic.

I had some dialogue with Dominic (XfireZ51) who offered to tune my cars idle behaviour for me at a very reasonable cost. I bought a Moates adapter (so that the original PROM is not touched) - the calibration changes reside in an external EPROM on the Moates adapter, which plugs into the original ECM slot.

So I installed the new tune today - and it is a huge improvement.

Domenic reduced the IAC delay so that the car comes down to baseline idle (now 650 RPM) quickly after stopping (this feature is not avail on any of the other PROMS out there that I am aware of)

He also reduced the knock retard to 5 degrees from 10 degrees, on hard acceleration - which adds a few extra HP.

I think I am done now till the fall when I'll be looking at porting the Plenum and IH.

COOL DEAL!! glad it worked for you

FYI keep an eye on the moates adapter, They have been known to fall out of the ECM socket..
