Default Who's modding their car this winter??

Just wondering...

The Texas Guy's are in full swing, I've heard that Corey has around 10 ZR-1's in his shop right now...

Anyone else??

Mine is in for a Clutch and few other items

Well, mine started in summer, went through fall and will go through winter into spring (yeah, we don't have those seasons here in Hawaii but you know what I mean). Not sure if I count, but here goes:

LT5 rebuild
Port/polished heads, plenum, IHs, TB, etc.
4:10 gears, rebuild posi, ARP studs, overhaul kit
New ujoints, PC halfshafts/driveshaft
Install C4 Beam plate
All polyurethane bushings being installed
New FX3 shocks
Powdercoat centers of Classic CCWs black
Add GTO body kit
Euro tail lights/side markers
C5 mirrors
Battery relocation to pass rear compartment
Insulate tunnel for sound and heat
detailed chassis and frame with POR-15 black and stirling silver, polish aluminum parts of suspension
PC drive/half shafts
Fidanza 3.2 kevlar clutch and aluminum flywheel
shift light install
I know there is more and can't think of the others.

My wish list is to just get my ported I/H's and Plenum installed on my motor. If I get favorable weather over a weekend I can get that done in my parking space! I know working in the street is a NYC thing!

If I can find a garage space to rent that will allow me to do work on the car, then I will get my headers set up for AIR and have the EGR tube removed, and then get them coated and install them on my car. That would be the short list! .....they hate me at my present rented space!

I just don't trust other people working on the motor in my neck o the woods. The rest of the car being a C4 I have a local dealer that I use if it's something I can't/will not do in my parking space. Although, I could just change the oil & filter and be ready to leave for BG in an hour, or give me a few hours to swap out the plugs, f/f, a/f, pcv's, gear & trans lube and I'll leave later. I don't pack much and my "go tool bag" is packed already!

Tom

This winter's project: Keep up with the "Jonezes" (make that the FBI )
Get the LT5 back together,
install new carpet and swap seats to std 95s
Get my car tuned to the new mods!
Will consider installing a 411 gear

That will be it for a while. I'd like to actually drive and race it a bit next summer!!!

Long live the Beast and the FBI!

P.
