Jeff,

I think there's more "bang for the buck" with new tires and a new driver.
The trap speeds are indicative of a low 12 car right now without heads but a 2.3 60' isn't going to get there. Not to mention 2nd gear.

Paul,

It was a beautiful day with few drivers out there. I'd already done 5-6 runs by noon. But the launch was more like "budda". Lousy 60". My best time came with tires at 29.5psi, 2.1 60", a 12.9 x 117.26mph. I will say there was a headwind today at Byron. The track faces south and that's where the wind was coming from which provided the 72d temps. DA corrected times were in the 12.6 @ 119+mph.
I was able to datalog one run. Looks like there's run to lean things out a bit. Little to no knock retard.

Ah, sorry 'bout the traction? As for leaning, what ratio have you found seems to work best for your LT5? Would it be around 13.0-13.5 (as some have suggested)? (Assuming you do run you wide-band sensor on the track, yes?)

Paul,

I think the idea is to be a bit rich at torque peak since this is the most likely area where you'll experience knock retard, then lean it out as you head to top end. I would not go any leaner than 13.1 for the top.
Yes I did datalog a run this Saturday, and the AFR looked a bit fat. I had little to no knock retard so I could lean it out a bit and/or try some additional timing.

The 91 octane would cause the lower advance. Having seen other Corey cals, he's more aggressive than that
