Default GM Hydraulic Clutch Fluid

Does anyone know if this fluid is hydroscopic?
On the bottle it says 1#12345347.

Yun, I think the GM stuff does absorb water? ...I am not 100% positive though.

Bill has since found a suitable alternative fluid. It's posted up on his site. A while back his opinion was to stick with the GM clutch fluid to not have the squeaking. I don't know if there were any other reasons he said to stay with the GM stuff.

Yes, if it's DOT 3 or 4. The FSM allows DOT 3 as a substitute. I've been using Ford HP DOT 3 for many years with no squeaking or any other problems. My clutch system has always leaked very slowly (never getting worse) and the Ford stuff is fine.

Why do I even have the stuff in the shop? Well, I have some left over from track events years ago and I hate to waste anything.

Thanks for the input.
