Re: Pre-Corvette Challenge Tune Up
Went today. Great day with great weather. Hardly anyone there. It was easy to do datalogging while getting a few runs in. My best time was a 12.8 and best trap was an 118.63. Fun track. I thought it stuck better than Byron, even mid-track, although my 60' doesn't show it. Worthwhile $35.

Re: Pre-Corvette Challenge Tune Up
Quote:
Speaking for myself, I'm hoping to have mine back together in time. I began planning the re-match a year ago, right after the first Corvette Challenge, beginning with the top end P&P, Headers, open exhaust, etc. This valve issue was untimely and unplanned. But, while the heads are off anyway, no better opportunity than now to complete the porting! So, with any luck at all, I hope to be close to "4 and a quarter" at the rear wheels, depending on whether I can somehow afford an aluminum FW before it's time to reassemble and roll. But, even at 425 ish, the cadre making up the core of the FBI puts A LOT more on the ground than that. So, if it is like last year, the BEASTS should open some eyes, "fer sher"!! Without a doubt, we're gonna have some fun. If Marc H. makes it as hoped, I could see it becoming quite a turnout for the BEAST - a mini BG? P.
