Well folks, most of you know I’ve been heavily involved with the Corvette communities for many years now and one cannot help but notice attendance is down to many events here in Bowling Green. But what can be done?
Well, I’ve been so informed about the Labor Day event that it had me laying awake watching Cialis commercials and trying out stuff I learned from the Dog Whisperer on the beagle. (it never works, she’s the Boss).
It appears the KY State Patrol has decided to jump in with both feet with all these caravans coming to town. One of their primary concerns is to get the Corvette traffic off the freeway as soon as possible. To do this they have devised a scheme that will take the entire southbound caravans right past my very door to the shop here. Yep, they’re going to open the old Chrysler gate and run the Corvettes right around the entire Corvette back plant road, then feed them in slowly to the NCM grounds. I couldn’t believe my ears, 2500 or more Corvettes rolling right past my doorstep!??
WE GOTTA HAVE A PARTY RIGHT????
Well, not really. If we cause the caravan to slow, it might make them troopers real mad so I’ve been thinking. What could we do right here in front of the shop with hundreds of Corvettes….uh…and their drivers….and…uh…their passengers….
Passengers?? Like as in girl passengers? Wait a minute….wait….WAIT…ITS COMING…..I GOT IT!!!
Ladies and Gentlemen, I would like to announce something that has never been done in Bowling Green before. MAN THIS IS PERFECT!!! OK, here it is. Ready??
You’re all going to be coming by and I’m going to have no less than three video cameras setup. Now we don’t want to tell you what to do, all we’re going to do is hang a HUGE sign in front of our place that says:

"NOW FILMING-CORVETTE GIRLS GONE WILD!!"

Parking in our viewing area $75.

I'm leading the Michigan Caravan with my daughter in one car and wife in the other. We're coming southbound, so we'll have to make the "loop" by your facility.

I guess I'll have to tell them I didn't know anything about it.
