Oh man, one thing I forgot to mention... When braking from ~115 or so, wow! These brakes are absolutely awful. By about 80mph they were done. Firm pedal, but nothing would happen as you push it. It was a bit scary.
With the key off, hammering them from 90mph was no biggie, felt great. I think the pads that came with the Baer kit are waxer low-dust crap or something. At least I'm hoping it's just that they are crappy pads. I never had that problem with the stock setup and Hawk pads. So maybe some decent pads up front will change my perception and satisfaction with these bigger calipers?

Yeah the stock breaks and calipers are ok. I don't know what brand rotors are on my Z but they look cross drilled but only about an 1/8" deep. Not all the way through. The exit comes up so fast at the end of the 1/4 mile line at the strip that I'm practically locking up the brakes so I don't go passed it. Tires are barking and squealing. But after 11 runs down the strip they held up and didn't fade on me.
