There are some out there in the $2K range. Not sure if $1800 delivered is possible. Take a look a Pro Park and Master. Shop around. A lot of the lower priced lifts come from China. May or may not be a bad thing, but neet to be aware of what you're buying. I bought from All American. Very satisfied with quality and functionality.

Lee do you have the height and room to get around it in the garage?

Yes it will be tight but will work. Need to get the cars stacked.

Lee i paid about $1900 for this lift last summer http://www.gregsmithequipment.com/Ma...p-xl-8k-ds.htm plus $175 to ship to Elgin. If you plan on bolting it to floor maybe you can get a deal with out the casters. Im in Bloomingdale if you want to come check it out and do some measuring.

the one I bought from northern tools was 1805 shipped to my door.

most places make you go and pick them up from a loading dock, and this would have happened too but they made a mistake and helped me out.

nice solid 9000 lb lift. came with casters, drip trays, and a tarp "diaper"

other than me FALLING off the d@mn thing, it's been a great lift and runs on 110 volts

needs a 30 amp feed though. very happy with it. the zr-1 lives on top of the TT z06 and turned my 2 car into a 3 car garage. the Ms. can keep her convert 325ci in the garage, and life is good.

put it together myself (which was a surprise) you'll for sure need a helper

the ramps are very heavy, especially the one with the hyd ram in it.

just do it! the other lifts are better quality, but this one is very heavy duty and works just fine. I would recommend putting some anchors into the foundation to stabilize it. not required (and I haven't done it either) but that little "wiggle" when you let the vette down on the stops can make you nervous! it's a sturdy lift, to be sure.

Spend the money and get a good, American made lift. Why take chances with your life (or your car)?

it's a good lift with zero problems and the 9k capacity is plenty strong.

all for buying american, but I looked at all of them is this is functionally and construction wise built like a tank. 1k was the only difference

been using it for a couple of years now, zero issues.

I put a LPE ZR-1 up on it with a turbo Z06 underneath, so yea, I'm pretty confident.

OK I am seriously thinking of doing this over the next few weeks. I have 9.5Ft ceilings and as the ZR-1 is 46.7" to the top so there is no issue with stacking the cars...will be backing in the top car.

Garage is 19ft wide, and about 20ft deep. Garage door is 16ft wide.

Any issues with the wife getting her car in on ther other side?????

Looking at a 4 post lift.
