Build Sheet
I finally got around to ordering the build sheet for my car. While I was at it, I ordered another window sticker to go with the originals that came with my car. I noticed a couple of interesting things when looking at the build sheet and new window sticker:

Re: Build Sheet
I also have a "Dark Red Met." and also is show on the build sheet as Brilliant Red Met. I have also found another interesting tid bit - I went and had a bottle of touch up paint made up. While talking to the paint guy while he was going thru his mixing book - we noticed that there was a "Dark Red Met." and a Brilliant Red Met. He first mixed the Dark Red Met. - It is not even a close match. He then mixed the Brilliant Red Met. - Pefect Match. My only guess is the difference between what production calls it on the build sheet and what Marketing wanted to call it. I will have to go back and look at the delivery dealer to see if there is any difference.

Re: Build Sheet
For my C6, the marketing name for its color is Lemans Blue but the build sheet calls out Luxo Blue which interestingly is what the color was sold as in the European markets.

Re: Build Sheet
when i first got my 90, two ½ years ago, i had gotten something from the museum. at the same time i had them do up a window sticker. i can't remember exactly now what was wrong with it but i remember i called & talked to a guy, told him i have the original window sticker & his wasn't correct. he was like...really? Hhmmm...he was confused for a minute or two, then said o.k. i'll take care of it. got another one that was correct a week or so later.
