Pacific NW ZR-1's - They Don't Melt!
Well, a few of us in the Seattle/Portland area got together for breakfast in Centralia, Washington today under less than perfect weather conditions. Hey, if you live in this area, your ZR-1 is going to get wet. Here's proof positive that ZR-1's do not melt when driven in the rain:

Re: Pacific NW ZR-1's - They Don't Melt!
I feel sorry for you guys up in the northwest. The country is beautiful, but the weather is always suspect. When I was in Seattle visiting the weather was good, but my buddy said I was lucky that week.
I am the second owner and the original owner swore it was never touched by rain, much less driven in it. I drove it home cross country from San Diego and never had a drop either. So I naturally have been concerned with the rumors of melting Z's. Nice photographic evidence that they don't melt. |

Nice pics. I used to live in the Seattle area. The weather didn't bother me, it was the traffic

Still, weather notwithstanding, it's GREAT to see so many 'vettes being shown off and enjoyed!
