Caution re: Factory Warranty take out engines
This past year approx. 35 factory warranty take out engines hit the marketplace. They had all sorts of major and some minor undefined defects that caused Chevrolet to replace the whole assy. during the early years. They floated around the used parts marketplace for sometime and someone finally acquired some or all. It would seem prudent to get a verifiable history of where the engine came from before making a purchase on a used engine especially an "as is" condition purchase. Just a word to the wise. John
