Default LT5 Reference Material Wanted

A new ZR-1 owner here.

From what I've read here and searching the Internet, there were two manuals written about the LT5:
1) "Introduction To The LT5" #56014.12-B1
2) "LT5 Engine Mechanical" #56014.12-B2

Both published by Service Technology Group

Anyone aware of any digital (.pdf) versions of the manuals?
Does anyone want to sell a copy...digital or paper?
Would anyone consider loaning them out for a few days?

Thanks,
Clint aka billybaloneey

What do the covers of these look like? Are you sure this is not the two-part STG videos? The videos have those same titles. I don't know their part numbers though. They pop up now and then on eBay and such for $100+ bucks.

If you aren't in fact trying to aquire them as collectibles, but rather are interested in the info, shoot me a PM and I can probably get you a copy on DVD. The second "tape" is a bit grainy but is perfectly useful in terms of getting the information.

The tapes are actually not all that helpful to a DIY'er, though, but it's interesting info none-the-less.

If you want the material so you can work on your car,
you need the two-or-three volume (depending on your
year ZR-1) red cover shop service manual. They pop
up on fleabay all the time or are available new from Helms
in Canada.
For general info, "The Heart of the Beast" book is great.
Lots to learn!

The red books cover the same stuff in better order.

These were the service training manuals, which were lacking in material and guidance at the best.

I snagged the two videos off of ebay last week.

I am a DIY'er and I like to surround myself with any and all documentation...as poor as the Haynes, Chiltons and Claymer are, they do have some C4 stuff that the FSM does not, but next to nothing on the ZR-1.

According to ZR-1 Registry the two books I mentioned were published, but no longer available. I suspect they are not as in depth as the factory service manuals...I snagged a set of them off of ebay as well, I should get them any day now.

Thanks for the offer, but I have the videos on the way.

I bought the pair of videos off ebay as well... I think that I paid $85 plus shipping for the set (in VHS) but have yet to watch them, so I can't comment on quality. If I get anything out of the videos, I figure that it's bettter than paying for an hour's labor.

If you are just looking for the info for "diy" purposes, it's all good, but many sellers (including the one I bought from) are selling copies instead of the originals so make sure you know what you're buying. I didn't care either way... I just wanted the info, but you may want the orig for collectibility reasons.

If you are getting just the videos your getting copies, I bought copies the video that you need is the engine video it goes over the basics of working on a LT5, now you need to get the special tools so you can work on it.
