Talked with Ted last night and he said BG was a really great time this year. Anybody care to share pics, stories now that the THE FORUM is back up and running again.

Re: BG Stories
John, I'm currently working on pics. Having issues uploading to my ftp at the airports..... and I'm still not home!
BG this year was pretty damn awesome. Lots of action and new things going on. I'll get pics up later tonight when I finally get home. I got videos of the drags too. |

Re: BG Stories
We're (loosely) looking forward to that. I saw you in a pic posted on the other forum, last one I think, so I figured you have some great shots sooner or later.
Thanks Jeff, I'll talk with you soon.

Re: BG Stories
That was one of the best Corvette shows I've ever been to (even with all the unfortunate nicknames I gained thanks to my poor car!) I've been to a lot of the big Vette shows between Bloomington Gold, Funfest, etc., but I loved the personal nature of the show.
Make no mistake, my dad and I will definitely be back next year! And hopefully by then, I'll be in another Z!

Re: BG Stories
One of the funniest "tidbits" I remember is from when Jeff "dragged" us to Tattle Tails on Friday night. That was an experience unto itself (separated bar area, more smoke than some of the burnouts on Saturday, and duct-tape "pasties"), but the funniest part to me involved Keith (Beschi).
For some reason, the girls all had an affinity for basically "forcing" anyone at the stage to "motorboat". Well, one of the girls had less, uh, *padding* than the others, yet was more aggressive. She walked up to Keith, grabbed him by the back of the head, and then SLAMMED his face into her chest. His nose smashed against her sternum so hard that-- no lie-- it actually *hurt* the man! He jerked his head back and half-expected to see blood running out his nostrils. Thankfully he was okay, but what a crazy injury that might have been! |
