Default Crankshaft Question

I'm looking at picking up an unused LT5 crankshaft but unfortunately the seller does not have the original GM part number or know which model year engine it was made for.
Looking at the Parts Book on the ZR-1 Reg site I see there are three crankshaft PNs listed for model years 90, 91-92, and 93-95.
Does anybody know how to tell the differences between these crankshafts?
Will a crankshaft for an early year LT5 work satisfactorily in a 93-95 model year engine without modifications?
Thanks

Default Re: Crankshaft Question

not without rebalancing, the 93-95 had a different piston and rod that were a bit lighter. I think the crank will physically work, but need at a minimum a rebalance.

I'd talk to Marc Haibeck or Aaron Scott, LPE , ect.. to be sure I'm right.
