I used the Accel 's - Simple easy mod to the centering tap on the primary's. I also agree with the others. Replace the injector housing (larger)o-rings. its a cheep price topay for not worring about vacuum leaks and not wanting to pul the plenum a 2nd time.

I got the accels from Atlatic speed. They will give you a discount if you tell them your are a member of ZR-1 .net. They flow really good. they come with the small seals. you only have to remove the seals fron the tip of the primarys.

Have fun !!!

So how much are we talking for primary and secondary injectors?

Cant plenum be removed without removing the water outlets?

What go water outlet gaskets go for?

I think Im seeing a project soon......oh yeah a 1990

you dont have to remove the outlets just the hoses that are attached. also you dont have to remove the throttle body seperate . if you want to replace the throttle body or replace the gaskets it is in my opinion easier to remove the t body after the plenum is off.

The water outlets, those big metal things (I assume that's what you mean) are attached to the Injector Housing, not the plenum. So you don't need to touch them at all. You will need to drain coolant out though, as there is coolant in the plenum. It's easier to drain it than to try to flush it out of a cylinder after it pours down an intake port.

I used the Accel injectors. The mods were easy to do. Got 'em from Summit Racing. Put 'em in a year ago and then went on a 5,000 mile road trip. "The Beast" runs like a top IMO.

I just found a source but I don't know how they compare in price. They are the RC style and I can get them in any flow rates. I have them in my Turbo car.

A set of 16 all ready to go is $500 w/ free shipping.

Cheers,
Ron H.
