Default why are the 1995 zr1 more powerful?

why are the 1995 zr1 more powerful? what changes happened between 1990 and 1995 to change the zr1 and what is the diffrence in preformance? what are the major changes i would like to buy one and want to know what was the best year. quality preformance exc.

Who says they are? On average no model year is overall faster then another. Some say the '90's are the fastest because they were the lightest. What it boils down to is engines vary. Just because it says 375hp or 405hp doesn't mean that is what the engine is truly putting out. You have some very strong 375hp cars and you have some weak 405hp cars.

The most significant and definitely the best change was the change of the main bearing caps on 1993-1995.
