FS 1991 #1,048 white w/ red interior 59k miles
1991 Corvette ZR-1 #1,048. 59,581 miles. White with red interior. Corsa cat-back exhaust, performance chip (not Haibeck), louvered air box lid. White painted roof only, no clear top included. Lowered, aligned, and suspension balanced by Dick Guldstrand's shop in the mid 2000s. I bought this car from the 3rd owner, Phil, in December 2023. He had it since 2005. I have all of Phil's records from his ownership. This car is exceptionally clean although there are a few blemishes as to be expected: small crack at the top center (near mirror) of original windshield, small rock chips in paint, gill panels (behind front tires) have one small split each where the rivets are on top, small hole (like a cigarette burn, although car doesn't smell like smoke) less than a dime size in left hip bolster of driver seat, driver seat frame seems like bolts need tightened. I had this car on my lift to inspect and service it this spring. Engine oil, tranny fluid, and rear end fluid were all changed at that time, about 500 miles ago. Brakes, wheel bearings, suspension components, and u-joints were all in good order. One power key included. Radio, speakers, CD, and cassette all work and sound great. A/C works great. FX3 works on all shocks in all positions. Headlights rotate with no hesitation. Antenna goes up and down easily. Original sawblade wheels are in very very good condition but the tires are old and cracked. In May, I found a Grand Sport I wanted and sold this ZR-1 to my mom. She's been driving it occasionally since, but has decided she likes her 03 Z06 better. Located in Southwest Colorado near Durango.
Car with original sawblades and bad tires: $26,500 Car with sawblades/bad tires and the custom ordered 3030 Autosport wheels with Continental tires: $32,500. Custom wheels and tires will NOT be sold before the car. Buyer of the car has first right of refusal. Many more pictured available. Also listed on Corvette Forum. Give me a call to discuss. 970-946-6730 Best, Grant |

Re: FS 1991 #1,048 white w/ red interior 59k miles
You've got a great Mom! A long, log, long time ago, just out of college, I owned a 1968 Hemi Roadrunner with a 4-spd. On my way to California with it, my Mom accompanied me to Detroit, where she had family, and drove the car part of the way. Somewhere on the New York State Thruway, going up a long hill, she said, "Wow, this car has a lot of power!". I said yes but you better slow down--you're going over 90 miles per hour. That was her only foray in to my high performance cars, but she did very well with it and I will always remember that trip. My first wife (and only one) has zero interest in cars. Oh well. Good luck with the sale. Looks like a nice car. --Bob
