Default advice?

Bought "rebuildable/salvage" 90 zr1. Has frame damage. Also have 93 40th anniversary lt1, no drivetrain, no title with good frame.
Could frame be swapped to zr1? Or should frame be repaired?

Anything is possible but not feasible. The frame isn't seperate from the body. There is a 91 for sale with no motor for $5000 floating around.

Exclamation Re: advice?

If the frame can be repaired, it is likely the better solution. To change out frame and keep all the title documents legal might depend on which state issued the title(s). If the VIN on the dashboard/firewall/cowl doesn't match the frame VIN, it might become a legal mess.... especially if ever sold and attempted to be registered in another state or some other country. I know that TX requires confirmation of VIN upon registration of vehicle from out of state; it is a special inspection other than typical safety and emissions inspection with its own paperwork.

Legal aspects I also considered. Cutting, welding and straightening is best then.

Even if you thought it better to use the 1993 frame, without a title for it, you might not even be able to acquire a bonded title if you used that frame for the repaired car...?

Zr1 was somewhat stripped, but have all parts with donor car except right rear 1/4. may try to fabricate the fender. If I use a mold process perhaps could make a few extra panels.

Seller said Florida requires a state inspection to retitle car. They might check all vin locations. Hope they don't issue a new vin number.

Zr1 without engine for 5k could work. Drop engine in and drive instead of a long project. Numbers matching only a minor issue.
