r12 to r134a conversion question
I recall that I read somewhere that it takes less R134a to charge the system than R12. Does anyone have information on the amount of R134A is needed for a full charge in a 1990 ZR1 AC system?
Thanks

Re: r12 to r134a conversion question
I thought it was around 75% of r12

Re: r12 to r134a conversion question
I checked with Marc Haibeck as my system was changed to R-134a. His response:
The refrigerant is measured by weight. It should have 1 lb. 14.6 oz of R-134a. Hope that helps
