LT5 drivetrain
I bought my first car, a 71 Chevelle in 1992. I restored it and then sold it in 1996. I started searching for it in 2019 and have been working on the owner ever since, to sell it to me. Last month he agreed and this week the car is back with me. My plans were to restore it period correct.
Going through some old documents, I came across two drawings I did of the car back in 1992 where I envisioned it as a ZR1 powered car. I have decided to make that kids dream a reality. So, now to my questions. I think the best thing would be to find a salvage titled or wrecked car so all the parts I will need are there and in working order. With headers and no cats, what else would need to be done to a 90-92 drivetrain to get 450-475hp? |
