WTB: Center gauge cluster bezel (aka radio bezel) w/power key.
My '94 ZR-1 had its secondaries system deleted and the center gauge cluster bezel w/power key has been replaced with a non-ZR-1 version. While I won't be adding the secondaries back, I'd still like a power key + bezel to retain one of the unique things about the ZR-1.

Re: WTB: Center gauge cluster bezel w/power key.
scorp508,
Finding a 94 or 95 "Dulso" coated radio bezel with power key slot and white lettering in good condition is next to impossible. Even a brand new one in a box by now would have become gooey. I ended up buying a GM OEM replacement radio bezel finished in satin black paint, drill a hole for the key and a slot for the green light (very carefully), JB Weld mounting posts on the back for the 2ndary power key module and replicate white lettering with matching font vinyl lettering. Trust me, it's not as easy as it sounds and take some steady hands. I stripped Dulso off the shifter console and sprayed with Testor's flat black paint for plastic models and the finish is a near perfect match between two pieces. Success rate is about 40-60. I ruined a couple of both pieces to get one of each in satisfactory finish. Not easy but can be done. https://www.gmwholesaledirect.com/oe...=free_listings |
