Default tunerpro question

Has anyone had success with Tunerpro RT on a ?92 car? I can connect but I get frequent errors and can?t get good data. I?ve tried a number of different files with similar results with both v4 and v5. It feels like it?s not getting the ?quiet? command but I don?t know what to do from here.

Car runs good but it smells rich at idle and I want to watch integrator, block learn and O2 and see what I can learn. Car has a 16163993 ECU. Was built with a AYWT memcal and upgraded to a Haibeck BPPA chip. I?m using a 1992BPPA bin and $D0A xdf files I got from gearhead-efi and a DO adx file that I can?t remember where I got.

Any help will be appreciated. I got the car from a forum member who gave it excellent care and I want to keep it up. Car is an animal.

Any mods to the motor? =Jeff= uses TPRT on his 90. I use ALDLdroid for my 92.

Thanks for the reply, car has headers and a chip. ALDLdroid looks pretty interesting. I skipped it because I don't have an android tablet but I should check it out. It looks like it needs the same .adx file, though. Is there a good .adx file out there?

What adx file are you using?

I've tried two - I found a D0.ads file, imported it and converted it to D0.adx. Then I tried a 171.ds file, renamed it .ads and did the same. Both had similar output.

This is all just trying things. I'm trying to figure out the .adx file formatting and trying different .bin and .xdf files one by one, too.

Thanks, Jeff, that was it. I had to go back to an AYWT bin file to finish off the errors and everything works. The dash has everything I need, it's cool.
Thanks to both of you, for the tip and for the answer. I've been flogging this horse for a while and I can see this was a lot of work. Car is worth it, though, and I appreciate it.

AYWT or BPPA shouldn?t matter with the $D0. adx. Are u saying the bin u r modifying is an AYWT? If so, may want to replace w BPPA which uses a $D0A.xdf.

The ECM label and build sheet show an AYWT broadcast code but it has a BPPA Haibeck chip so I wasn't sure. I've tried three or four bin, xdf and adx files in different combinations but had persistent errors until I used Jeff's $D0-LT5-complete.adx file.

Not tuning yet, just starting to log and learn. What works for me in TPRT is a 92aywt.bin I got from Tunerpro, a $D0A.xdf from gearhead-efi and the $D0-LT5-complete.adx file. I was using a BPPA bin because of the Haibeck chip but it looks like the bin affiliates with the build BCC.

Block learn and integrator are tracking a little different left to right but so far within 10 counts of 128.
