Default Who is running a RAM clutch & flywheel? Experience sought.

I'm looking to hear peoples thoughts on different setups.

Nothing is wrong with my oem clutch, but I'm after the change in throttle response that comes with a single mass flywheel conversion.

I'm planning to buy a RAM setup from Jerrys, my dilemma is what flywheel weight and clutch disc combo to go with.

My car is a 91 368 with full porting and stock cams. I have cams that will be going on the car in the future.

Car has 4.09 gears in it currently but I think I will be changing to 3.75 or 3.90 gears in the future.

What are people running here and what are your experiences with clutch take-up, and thoughts on the flywheel weight you chose?

I'm running their 15# flywheel, hydraulic throw out and 700? hp clutch. Install was a huge ordeal. Now it's good.

I am running the aluminum flywheel, with the basic Ram clutch, my car is mostly stock. My flywheel choice was a bad decision, my car sounds like a UPS truck, full of marbles, falling down a mountainside, whilst driving around town. That was my choice, but since I never drive it anymore, it isn't an issue. I digress, it does rev quicker, feels much better than the stock setup in pedal feel, and overall driving. The install was pretty straightforward, Jerry takes the hard part out of the equation, no measuring, or shimming. Worst part for me was using a holesaw to drill a ZR-1 specific bellhousing. Other than that, I found the install to be easy, as easy as manhandling a ZF6 on the ground can be. Obviously you would want a more aggressive clutch material than I chose, but overall I am happy with it.

I have a brand new RAM clutch that I?ve never installed. Bought it and never finished the project. Let me know if you are interested.
