ZR-1 Article in April Sports Car Market Magazine
This just arrived in my mailbox in the April issue of Sports Car Market magazine. Not a bad review for SCM which has not had too much love for C4 ZR-1s in the past. I wrote them a letter about the article and ZR-1s; if it gets published I'll post it here probably next month. --Bob

Re: ZR-1 Article in April Sports Car Market Magazine
I always wonder why these types of articles make the comment that the car looks just like the base models and that being a key reason for the lack of value in the market. First, to my eyes owning a 95 ZR-1, they are significantly different, especially from the rear. And second, if that is the general logic, why doesn't it work for the 67 L88 which the market values in the $3-4 Million range while 67 390HP big blocks, that look EXACTLY like the L88 are a small fraction in market value?

Re: ZR-1 Article in April Sports Car Market Magazine
By nature we are visual people. It's a sleeper car that's why I bought mine because I'm infatuated with the mechanics of it. The cold hard truth is they do look Similar... The silhouette is the same. Most people don't care and can't see a 4 inch difference and definitely don't see the 3rd brake light distinction or location. With Both of my 93's sitting side-by-side 8 out of 10 none Vett people don't see a difference and believe me I've tested my theory... Sometimes I get it's a Camaro or a Firebird? I don't get offended and I don't internalize what the masses think. The value of the car to me and to the original purchaser was the ZR-1 performance package and that was never a external Purchase decision....Screenshot_20230227_142758_Photos.jpg
