Front wheel Bearings and Hubs for 1990 ZR-1
I am looking at Timken Front Hubs with wheel bearings for a 1990 ZR-1 (#3032).
I have the old hubs removed and the ABS is apparently in great shape I broke a couple front wheel Studs on the original Wheel Hub

Cliff,
Studs can be replaced with a large "C" clamp, and a large socket. Phil and I replaced all studs on the rear bearings with longer ones so that I can safely install 1/2" spacer and make up for non-Z wheel offset. |

Re: Front wheel Bearings and Hubs for 1990 ZR-1
I ended up getting Timken Front Hubs with wheel bearings for a 1990 ZR-1 (#3032).
#513019 Timken Wheel Bearings and Hub Assemblies. The 4 Hub Bolts are torqued to 46 ft lbs each. I have the old hubs removed and the ABS is apparently in great shape Also installed Wilwood Brake Kit 140-8337 on ZR-1 #3032. A good thing I removed the front wheels from #3032 given a couple Wheel Lug Nuts were siezed Post 119 - Last 1990 (#3032) ZR-1 Sold and ZR1 Inspection TIPS Post 270 - Wilwood 6 Piston Brakes with 13" Rotors and Wheel Alignment The Hats are first torqued 100 in-lbs each of 12 bolts to the Rotors (Twelve 1/4x20 bolts with 8mm 12 Point heads). The Rotor is installed on the Wheel Bearing Hub. Two threaded bolts holding the Wilwood Adapter to the Wheel Bearing Hub Housing are torqued to 150 ft-lbs. The Caliper is installed on the Wilwood Adapter (30 ft-lbs) with correct shims to center the Rotor within the Caliper. The Caliper also has to be adjusted on the radius of the Rotor such that the Brake Pads are completely on the surface of the Rotor.
