Yup. Looks like the guy at the factory only welded one side well back in 1989. Only held up for 33 years. Lousy craftsmanship!

You could easily cover that with spray paint after welding it, no big deal.

I also have a rear hatch with a cell phone antennae provision drilled into the glass if anyone is interested. I thought it would be interesting to put a Porschee 944 rear wiper on it
