Default A question about the open Forum

When I try and click on a picture it states I don't have permission to access that page, what exactly does that mean?

Its not an error, rather its a feature.

You have to a paid member in order to blow up a pic.

I have my opinions on why the Board enacted this new rule but they would likely get me banned and this thread shut down and deleted.

Sounds like an effort to get people to be members.

Hmmm..... Well, as Secretary on the Board of Directors, I am not aware of any deliberate exclusions of non-members regarding photos on the FOURM. It certainly was never discussed nor a Motion made/passed (@ a Director's meeting) to that effect, that I'm aware of.

That said, the FORUM is constantly being attacked by hackers and spammers. So, in order to keep them out, one of the Director positions on the "Board" is the responsibility to maintaining the FORUM and acting as "goalie" to preserve the FORUM for we ZR-1 fanatics! And, in doing so, sometimes there are unintended consequences: NOT allowing the ability of non-members to access or manipulation of photos would fall into that category (of unintended consequences).

Stay tuned!

Inability to enlarge pics has a detrimental effect to even members who, as an example, are trying to SELL something. My $.02.
