Re: FOR SALE 2004 Z06 HOT ROD!!!

Most days I wake up thinking (dreaming?) that I'm still 25 and can still do all the things that I used to do - and then reality sets in and I realize that I'm closer to 80 than to 70. The left foot/leg no longer function on the mountain roads as well as they did a few short years ago and that's why I reluctantly parted ways with my ZR-1 & C5 ZO6. Paddle shifting my Z51 C7 is marvelous and buys me a few more years. And now that we are moving to the mountains full time I intend to maximize my seat time driving the twisties. So Steve ... I hope the next post I read from you is that you pulled the trigger. FWIW, there were only 2 things I wish my ZO6 had - the 427 and the Tiger Shark front clip. When you get the Z consider adding the MGW shifter - that was my only mod and it's the closest shifter to the Hurst that I could find for the C5. Highly recommended. |
