95 z shocks
anybody out there no how they judge the shock, can a 92 rear shock be ok for a 95? are they date coded? (factory bilstiens)

replied on your other thread. Yes, number stamped with julian date at bottom edge of shock. Also has white sticker (that is usually washed off) with suspension code

Here is today's answer, which was the way my ZR-1 was judged each time.
"Marty as of now they only look at the shock itself (Bilstein). However, in the next 94-96 Judging Manual which is 2 to 3 years away, date codes will be examined." The Julian date is stamped into the shock as the other poster responded "A lot of shocks have little white stickers on them also" "Nothing has come out in writing yet or even judging requirements" Again, all consistent with past judging.
