Hey guys, I'm putting my interior back together and am checking everything under the dash. On these cars the brake and clutch have cruise control switch/valves. I put a new clutch pedal assembly in her and I am doing the switch /valve on the clutch and can't find a vacuum hose for it like the brake switch/valve has.
Should there be a vacuum hose for the clutch switch/valve? The assembly look just like the one on the brake pedal and it has a vacuum hose. I have a FSM but it's not clear on this, thanks. |

No vacuum line, this is an electrical switch only.. tells the Cruise Control Module that the clutch has been depressed, kicking out the CC..

Hope all is well Marty!
I'm troubleshooting a cruise control engagement issue on a clients car. The clutch switch plug is missing and I can't locate the wires. Has a GM "aftermarket" security system installed with a lot of wires cut and spliced.. at dead end.. oh well.. Steve Sent from my SM-G950U using ZR-1 Net Registry mobile app |
