1990 Injectors - Copy of a Graham Behan's Article
I need help to locate a copy of Graham Behan's article published in the March/April 1998 issue of the ZR1 newsletter. Will someone please assist me?
Background information of the article: Marc Haibeck wrote in his article "Fuel Injector Replacement" (posted on his site) when he was referencing the 1990 - 1992 LT5 GM fuel Injectors, "By about 1991, ethanol was under consideration, and GM revised the fuel injector design to make them compatible with ethanol. This was documented by Graham Behan, the Lotus release engineer for the '93 LT5 engine. In an article published in the Mar-Apr '98 issue of the LT5 Registry newsletter, he wrote an article titled "'93 Model Year Changes." In the article he states that the fuel injectors incorporate" part changes for alcohol fuel resistance." |

If you can research GM Service Bulletins & come up with something like a replacement PN using the 93-95 design injector instead, I think it would serve your purpose better.

Tks Jerry,
I did not find anything relating to 1990 ZR1 injectors in the GM service bulletins. I would like to get access to Graham Behan's publication if possible. It's old but still very valid because of the author's knowledge. Unfortunately, Graham does not have a copy. Paul |
