Door belt line moldings
Hi there. Are the door belt line moldings longer on the ZR-1, or same part # as the base car?

You’re right. I should spec I’m asking about the molding on the door.

Re: Door belt line moldings
I have been told they are the same. Might check with Mark @ Mirrock. He will know for sure.

Re: Door belt line moldings
They are the same part on a 91-95,I know this for fact. I wanted to repaint the door trim on my 91,I thought that other than the threaded stud at each end the center of the trim had snaps, wrong. On the early 91s,at least up to VIN 634,the trim has threaded studs the length of the trim,I destroyed one piece getting it off. I’m looking for a driver door piece with all threaded studs if anybody happens to have one.

Re: Door belt line moldings
I forgot to add,THE ENTIRE DOOR HAD TO COME APART TO GET TO ALL THE NUTS! That was one of the situations that if you ever got the chance to meet the engineer that designed that part, you'd slap em.

Door belt line moldings
The door molding is same for 90. I have them NOS and checked the part numbers. Only the dog leg (or whatever that piece is behind the door is) and rear bumpers have different molding than a standard C4.
