Default Lingenfelter Fuel Pump

Lingenfelter offers a replacement TI Walbro fuel pump system for the LT5, shown here:

www.lingenfelter.com/product/L710030390.html

Have any of you guys used this particular one? The price, less than $200, seems reasonable for the whole rig, plug and play.
Any opinions on this brand?

TIA, Bob.

Bob,
You only get the two fuel pumps with the socks for $200. You can get replacement fuel pumps with the socks for about $25 each from RockAuto.

Todd,
Do the Walbro GSS340 pumps fit in place of the OEM pumps without any modifications?

They are fatter. I had to split the plastic housing to expand it slightly.

Well Duh, my fault for not reading closely.

On even closer reading, I noticed that Lingenfelter offers a different Walbro pump, (search #710040390), for the LT5. They claim these were used on the legendary twin turbo cars John L. built, back in the day.
I'm always inclined to overkill when replacing stock parts, trying to upgrade instead of just replacing with "factory stock". This sometimes gets me in trouble, but I'm wondering if these high capacity pumps would provide ANY improvement in maintaining reliable, full fuel pressure on a stock LT5?
I think I know what the answer is going to be, but has anyone tried these high capacity versions on a stock LT5?... Results?

I was referring to the high volume pumps, which are the GSS340. I haven't used the other model. Have to say, on a stock LT5, just go with the stock replacement pumps which I think are from a suburban or such.

This is taken directly from the Walbro Web site......and for a 94 Corvette.... although they did not have a distinction between the LT1 & LT5.....they just listed 5.7L for engine choice....
They list 4 pumps for our application.....but one pump is for E85
It appears that the difference between the GSS340... GSS341......or GSS342 pumps.....are the inlets at the bottom of the pumps...as seen in the illustrations.. And as mentioned the GSS340 is the correct pump.....

http://walbrofuelpumps.com/walbro-gss-fuel-pumps

There has been good and not so good reviews on the pump (from other sources)......the main concerns are that some pumps are not the real thing and some did not last long.....most sellers do have it listed as a "genuine" Walbro pump.....so buyer beware....(of course you can buy directly from Walbro....at a slightly higher price)

And as mentioned.....Rock Auto has at least 6 different pumps to choose from....
