Default Moog suspension parts, US vs Mexico

Not Z-related, but many of us use Moog parts, and I found this a bit interesting.
I just ordered two end links for the rear anti roll bar on my 03' Durango from the same vendor. When I received the parts, one was from Mexico, and the other "Made in USA".

The Mexico version was mostly identical to stock, with a proper rubber bushing on top, and sealed ball joint at the bottom. Painted black.

The US version was a poorly assembled rod with Polyurethane bushings on one side, and a ball joint with grease nipple at the other. No surface treatment what so ever. Looked like a poorly made Chinese replica.

Even the box looked better on the mexico-edition, with brighter colours and clearer letters.

What's happening over there??
