You need to compare the 'pin-out' to the C100 of your '92 to whatever you have the opportunity to buy.
8A-202-13 gives you that 'pin-out' for your '92. I didn't bother to compare to '90. It's something you need to sort!! If the '90 was from a C60 car it would require modifications to be used on any C68 car. Here is the '90 C100 'engine side'. You need to compare cavity population and each circuit mentioned in likely both FSM. 1990 Engine side C100.jpg Last edited by WVZR-1; 02-17-2018 at 09:15 AM. |

Dominick, as you might guess Marc Haibeck has a lot of knowledge about this issue. You might check in with him on this if you have not already. --Bob

Also... for your '92.
- The valet key wiring changed from two to three wires for '91 and up. - The oil level sensor connector was added for '91 and up. - The EVAP solenoid connector was moved from the chassis to under the plenum in '91. Like Jeff said, none of these things matter to you. You can just add a 645 ohm resistor to the ECM connector to simulate the Valet key as always in full power mode and avoid the valet wiring error code. |
