I didn't ask for details. I was on a waiting list since this past summer and they let me know due to some unfortunate recent events they would not be able to get the work completed before the spring. I haven't sent my shocks in yet, so they were letting me know not to send them in which I appreciate.

Yes, for competition use. You are correct; I can buy new and have them revalved, but that is a waste of money, so I wanted to have mine repaired and revalved at the same time.
