I have to buy a new daily driver this year (my 5 series BMW is pushing 9 years old) and she says we can't afford it. Keep searching and remember that sometimes the cheapest cars end up being the most expensive in the long run. I am at a point in my life now that if I were looking again for a ZR-1 I would want one which has had everything done on it by a marque expert--or at least one that has been owned a long time by a member of this esteemed group.--Bob

Very true....I feel the same way about any corvette I buy in the future.....I want it totally done to my specs.....Don't mind paying......
