Many fond memories from living there for about year back in the mid 1970s while taking a navy cruiser through major overhaul at the old Long Beach Naval Shipyard on Terminal Island. Was out there a year ago and naval shipyard is long gone. After the government closed it down the place was converted to massive container port. Used to hang at the Acapulco Inn bar on 2nd street shooting pool, drinking beer and having fun. Wonder if the place is still there.
