While you're speaking of Mercury Racing engines, check out their 1750 horsepower QC4v unit. MR is real hush-hush about actual pricing on these, but I have read in a few spots that even the 1350 HP version costs over $200K. Would love to see what one of these would feel like in a C7.

Somehow I missed the actual "Mercury Racing" booth at SEMA a few weeks ago, but I did stop and make a quick vid of one in a custom bronco chassis. It's a nice piece and I can't believe it's actually shorter than a stock LS7.
